The mission is to empower wildlife professionals to advance conservation through science, community, and professional excellence.
Established in 1961, the North Central Section (NCS) brings together wildlife professionals and students from 8 Midwestern states:
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Through active committees and an engaged Executive Board, NCS addresses regional conservation issues, fosters partnerships amongst state, federal, University, and private partners, and helps section representation at the Council and Government Affairs levels.
The Wildlife Society operates through a multi-level structure to support wildlife professionals and students. This structure includes:
8 regional Sections
